I’ve been working as a translator and interpreter for 4 years.
I’ve translated over two million words to help my clients achieve their goals—whether that’s expanding their business or ensuring full transparency in a privacy policy.
A genuine curiosity and a passion for communication help me connect with clients during interpreting sessions, delivering a service that is both efficient and pleasant.

All my university education took place in Trieste, Italy’s border city par excellence.
That’s where I realised that a “frontier” and a “border” aren’t the same thing. Frontiers are a political element, they are insurmountable, they feel like a wall. Borders, on the other hand, are more of a geographic concept. They are meant to be crossed, they are permeable, welcoming even.
That’s the kind of translation I strive for: texts that balance between two cultures, adapting to the target language without losing the soul of the source.
My journey
With my university commitments behind me, I have started focusing full-time on Traduzioni di confine.
I took my first steps into the world of video game localization, become a member of AITI (the Italian Association of Translators and Interpreters), and, after a fair share of work, I launched this website.

2024
Master’s Degree and EMCI Program
I was selected for the EMCI program, a European Master’s in Conference Interpreting, which I successfully completed in June.
In December, I earned my Master’s degree with a thesis on historian Alessandro Barbero and the power of effective communication.
I enrolled in the Master’s in Conference Interpreting at the University of Trieste.
Between classes, I continued to work as a freelance translator, I tutored students at the university, and collaborated with the Ibero-Latin American Film Festival in Trieste, first at the front desk, then as an interpreter and later as chief interpreter.

Bachelor’s and America Youth Award
In July, I earned my Bachelor’s degree and I was awarded the America Youth Award for academic excellence. Around the same time, I found out I had been accepted into the Master’s in Conference Interpreting.
I completed my internship in Barcelona with a grant from the Erasmus Traineeship program, working at Omero Traducciones. That collaboration continued, and in August I officially launched my freelance career.

Graduation and Start of BA
In July, I graduated from high school and, the following month, I was admitted to the undergraduate program in Applied Interlinguistic Communication (let’s just call it Translation) in Trieste.
In my third year of high school, I spent a year in the United States as an exchange student. I studied at Letchworth High School, played football, wrestled, and earned a US diploma.

Driven by a growing love for English, I enrolled in a high school with a focus on foreign languages in Matera, where I studied English, Spanish, and German.
